I came across a really cool blog a while back that actually got me to finally decide to switch and use blogspot. The blog is all about really neat decorating ideas that the writer has found on-line and things she loves. Sadly, she is no longer keeping it anymore but you can find the history of all her old blogs here http://morewaystowastetime.blogspot.com.
I've been trying to think up a neat idea for a blog and haven't been able to come up with one. I think I finally did. I saw a post on her blog about $75 fans and how reasonable they were and I thought to myself, I can't afford a $75 fan. Right now I am planning a wedding and trying to save every last penny for that. However, I can't help but want to still spend a little here and there.
I came up with the rather ingenious idea, I think, of taking out $20 cash every Friday and letting myself spend it on anything and everything my heart could possibly desire. It's worked out quite well so far. My bank account is happy and so am I.
Thinking over both of these facts I finally came up with the idea for my blog, 20 things under $20. Each day I will come up with a different topic of choice. I'm quite excited to do some hunting and see what I come up with. Wish me luck!
